Jo-Ann Lizio
Contemporary Abstract Artist
Naples Florida
“The element of the unknown is most important in my work as I believe art always has a problem to solve, an analysis, leading to an unknown conclusion. Each solution contains the next problem. I am challenged by this on-going adventure, which by definition is infinite.” Jo-Ann Lizio

"Homage to da Vinci: Codice Sul Volo Degli Uccelli"
36"H x 72"W
Aviation Fabric, paper collage and aviation pigments and metal assemblage - Contemporary Flight Art is the link between fine art and aviation technology. The artist's response to the forms and colors of whole and disembeled aircraft is to abstract the elements into the works rather than produce literal representations. Adding the painter's interaction with aviation pigment to the raw materials from aircraft has resulted in a fine and moving body of work.
